Oh, it's a juicy week!
This time instead of having the mental turmoil of deciding which Men's Super League match to pick and predicting all the matches 14-10, which I know you all love. I thought it would be insightful to share a timeline of every teams rating throughout the season so far.
In short, I have a calculator that tracks the rating of a team based on their performance. You can read more about the science, here! And instead of some key predictions, I thought it would be nice to share the season so far!

FAQ's
Why are promoted teams so high compared to teams already in that league?
As a league progresses the rating of each team becomes very accurate compared to the ratings of the other teams in that league. However, it isn’t accurate compared to teams in other leagues. Teams that get promoted add rating points to a league's average rating and teams that get relegated take them away. This is the way the average ratings of each league become more accurate, leading to each team's rating becoming more accurate to other teams in other leagues.
Are scores from the English open included?
Nope, I didn’t have them at the time of production
Are the ratings comparable between men and women?
From a statistical standpoint, no but feel free to hypothesise.
When did the season start/What tournaments are included?
This started 4th September 2022. Every dodgeball tournament I have been able to get my hands on since this point. If you have results you want including then reach out to me on Facebook. (Alex Bembridge)
There are a number of periods where teams’ ratings do not change, why is that?
Because there are no events in those weeks
